Training Classes

Training Classes
I am the Senior Instructor and Manager of the Spilsby Branch of Ichtus Canine Centre Dog Training Club, also a Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (MAPDT 01026).
I have attended numerous seminars and workshops dealing with aggressive dogs, dog behaviour and also trained in competitive obedience, obedience, agility and heel work to music.
In 2014 I qualified with my dog Woody as part of the Louth Search and Rescue Dog Team working alongside the Lincolnshire Police in searching for missing persons.

Jasper and little Benson

Ralphie, 6 months and
Millie 12 years
My classes take place in the undercover sand arena at The Heavy Horse Centre at Great Steeping, just outside Spilsby, Lincs.
Classes are taught using the clicker and reward method and cater for all dogs, big and small, young and old.
I run various courses on a regular basis, puppy, socialisation, beginners for over 5 months old and agility. Each week I try to vary what we do in class so as to try and make them fun for not only the dogs but owners as well. From learning new tricks, basic agility, rally, scent work and of course, the most important and essential obedience.
During the summer months classes are taken outside in one of the fields whenever possible.
If you wish, you will be given the opportunity to take the Kennel Club's Good Citizens Awards test and obtain your bronze, silver and gold certificates.
1 to 1 lessons available, please ring me to discuss.
